Powell Duffryn Limited

I have started cataloguing the final collection of the project, the records of Powell Duffryn Limited. At the moment I am doing as much preliminary reading as possible to get my head around the various amalgamations, takeovers and names changes, both pre and post nationalisation. 

It looks set to be a very interesting collection, with lots of research potential; the company was once the largest colliery company in Great Britain and were pioneers of research in coal mining and utilisation.
